Local Hospice Overwhelmed by Support from Clifton Park Hospital

Over 30 members of staff from Clifton Park Hospital took part in this year’s York 10k and York Midnight Walk on behalf of St Leonards Hospice, raising £1.5k for the cause. Along with the walks and runs to raise awareness and funds, staff from the York based hospital are volunteering at the hospice and helping in many other ways.

The funds raised will be used to give specialist care and support to families across the local community who are living with an incurable illness.

Hospital Director, Ceri Morgan said: “St Leonards Hospice is a vital part of our local community and we’re really proud to have them as our chosen local charity partner. I would like to thank all our staff for their continued support and passion towards this cause.”

“Our team have worked hard putting in a lot of time and dedication to make their fundraising a success and I am very proud.

"We have really enjoyed the events and it is fantastic to know that our efforts will make difference.”

We look forward to supporting this charity that has supported many of the team personally and is close to all of our hearts over the coming year.”
